Each year, council representatives are appointed to a range of external organisations for example to serve on their Management Board, be a Trustee or part of an Executive Committee. These appointments are made at the council's General Purposes Committee and generally run for one year but some are for a four-year period. Description

The London Legacy Development Corporation was created in 2012 and has the responsibility for looking after the development of buildings and outdoor spaces in and around Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
