There are long standing arrangements for the delivery of integrated Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services by the Council and the East London (NHS) Foundation Trust within Tower Hamlets.

In line with good practice, the report proposes the arrangements are formalised through a Section 75 Partnership Agreement (National Health Service Act 2006). This details the respective responsibilities of both organisations and the current funding they are committing to discharging these functions.

The Agreement formalises the current arrangements and is no proposing any significant changes.

It has been developed over an 18 period and consultation has been extensive but also included in ongoing work to strengthen integrated working which is supported by Tower Hamlets Together
