LGA Corporate Peer Challenge
PDF 80 KBTower Hamlets Council have been progressing an extensive improvement journey since 2014 when Commissioners were brought in by the Secretary of State for DCLG. This progress was evidenced by the return of decision making powers in March 2017 with Directions to deliver an improvement plan in key areas with regular reporting of progress and performance.
It was agreed at Best Value Improvement Board in September 2017 that the
Council adopt the LGA Peer Challenge as the chosen mechanism for roviding the independent review of progress and improvement.
