Ageing Well Small Grants - 2018/19

• Agree to the process of inviting applicants for the 2018/19 Ageing Well Small Grants fund which aims to provide financial support to groups providing social activities and peer support to older people in the borough,
• To consider the award of four grants from the 2017/18 fund, where applicants are operating from council-owned premises but without a current formal arrangement in place.
A decision is required to ensure that the 2018/19 fund can potentially used by groups to fund Eid celebrations (in June 2018) and summer activities.

Consultation process
Organisations in receipt of an Ageing Well Small Grant in 2017/18 will be engaged to ensure that the application process, which saw a significant number of changes from previous years, is clear and effective.
All organisations who received a grant in 2017/18 are required to submit a feedback form, inviting comments on the process and scope of the grant fund.
