Mayor's Transparency Protocol & OSC Transparency Recommendations

As the work around these two initiatives have naturally converged, this report provides a combined picture of the current position on the Council’s overall work to drive forward the vision of a more open, accountable and transparent organisation.

Consultation process
Increasing the transparency of decision making, enabling more effective public engagement in the work of the Council and making more information more accessible to the public all serve to empower residents. In so doing, this provides for better understanding of and engagement in the challenges faced by the borough leading to more resilient communities.
