PDF 81 KBTo consider and endorse Officers’ recommendations to award grant funding to the RPs East End Homes and Swan Housing Association from the Borough’s Right To Buy receipts to build affordable housing.
The Council has significant RTB receipts. These must be used for the provision of new social housing in accordance with the terms of the agreements that the Council has entered into with the DCLG. To date £7.06m of these receipts has been agreed by the Commissioners to be used to assist developing RPs supplement their affordable housing build programmes.

The Council’s Finance and Legal department will be consulted before any decisions are made as well as the Mayor, Lead Member for Housing, DMT& CMT.
