Consultation process

The recommendations have arisen out of a challenge session with a number of Council services who deliver services related to community cohesion. The sessions were collaborative in nature and have involved the consultation of Members, the Deputy Young Mayor, as well as external partners such as the Tower Hamlets Voluntary Community Sector and the Safer Neighbourhood Board. The recommendations seek collaborative working across the organisation, with local partners, stakeholders and residents ensuring positive outcomes for all in the community.

Has an Equality Analysis been carried out and if so the result of this Assessment?: No - this report makes a number of recommendations which ensure that the Council achieves a number of positive cohesion related outcomes and foster good relations between residents from different backgrounds in compliance with the Council's Public Sector Equalities Duty under the Equalities Act 2010.
