On 24th April the Housing Scrutiny Sub-Committee approved the recommendations of the Under Occupation Review Group and instructed officers to develop an Action Plan. The under occupation review group took a closer look at under occupation in social housing, the incentives that could be offered to encourage tenants to downsize and considered some best practices, in other local authorities and partner organisations.
