Consultation process
A range of consultation activities have been carried out to inform the development of the strategy:
- Internal consultation has been carried out with service areas in
the Council and via the Health and Wellbeing Board;
- External consultation has been carried out using quantitative and
qualitative methods;
- A resident telephone survey was carried out in November 2016 and
a number of in-depth discussion groups were held with key
stakeholder groups, such as sports groups and friends of parks
groups; and
- A consultation event was also held with the Youth Council in
November 2016.
