Consultation process
Consultation will involve the following stakeholder groups:
- Residents of Tower Hamlets including users of social care services and their carers;
- Statutory sector partners including NHS partners;
- Voluntary and Community Sector organisations;
- Relevant regional / national representative bodies;
- Other Council Directorates;
- Relevant private sector providers (such as residential care home providers)
- Health and Wellbeing Board
A range of consultation mechanisms will be employed including:
- Specifically constituted focus groups and attendance at existing public engagement meetings and forums;
- Workshops with statutory and voluntary sector partners;
- Themed workshops with specific cross-sector groups of providers (for example residential care home providers);
- One to one engagement with key individual stakeholders (senior leaders in key stakeholder organisations, subject specialists and similar).
This engagement activity will be supplemented by reviews of relevant literature and of findings from (recent) previous engagement such as resident surveys / user satisfaction surveys.
