Consultation process
As well as MAB, the paper has been through Children’s DMT on three occasions, and twice to the headteachers’ 14-19 consultative group which was highly supportive of the proposed changes from a lump sum paid in two instalments to all who qualified with no measurement of impact to this more targeted proposal which requires feedback on impact to the Mayor.
Has an Equality Analysis been carried out and if so the result of this Assessment?: The arrangements continue an existing programme. It has not been considered necessary to carry-out a further EqIA. However, this is a target programme, available to young adults from homes where as school students they would have qualified for either free school meals and/or the Educational Maintenance Allowance.
What supporting documents or other information will be available?: None
