The Strategy draws on the significant amount of consultation already undertaken as well as findings of internal and community consultation and engagement. Internal consultation has been completed through the Health and Wellbeing Board and Asset Management Board. External consultation has been carried out using quantitative and qualitative methods. Market research into resident perceptions of indoor sports facilities was carried out through a telephone survey in November 2016 and a discussion session was held with the Youth Council.
