1. To initiate tender processes in respect of a range of adult social care and supported housing services;
2. To authorise the direct award of contracts to existing providers of these services until such time as new contracts are let and in order to ensure continuity of service provision to residents;
3. To delegate authority to the Acting Director of Adults’ Services following consultation with the Corporate Director of Law Probity and Governance and Monitoring Officer the power to decide to enter into all necessary agreements and undertake any other ancillary matter to give effect to the decision referred to in recommendation 2;

4.    To delegate authority to the Acting Director of Adults’ Services following consultation with the Corporate Director of Law Probity and Governance and Monitoring Officer the power to utilise the contractual extension clauses contained in a range of social care services subject to being satisfied with performance and value for money.
