Future Funding of New Belvedere House (NBH) Ex Servicemen's Hostel
Commissioners asked at their meeting in April, 2015, for an update on the following areas:
A. the outcome of discussions with Veteran’s Aid (VA – the organisation which owns and operates NBH), as to the future funding options available to VA relating to NBH, after they had an opportunity to plan for the decision at the Commissioners meeting in April, to end LBTH funding at the end of 2015/6; and
B. the result of the analysis by LBTH officers, of NBH’s operating budget for 2015/6 and any other sources of income available.
The report will ask for approval of the proposal not to explore any future funding to VA after March 2016, as they have formally indicated they will replace the LBTH funding, through their own funding efforts and also to note the award of funding to NBH at the same level as 2014/5 (£150, 275), following an assessment by LBTH offices of their budgets.
