Consultation process
The Council has been discussing the proposal with the leaseholder. The council will also be consulting an independent valuation company to ensure best consideration is secured.
It should be noted that the council’s consent to a change of use as a landlord/freeholder DOES NOT bind or other predetermine the outcome of any planning process. Consultation on any planning process would be carried out according to the legislative requirements and the council’s agreed policies.
The Commissioners will also be consulted, particularly in relation to securing their consent before entering into any commitment to dispose of any real property as required under the directions issued by the Secretary of State.
Has an Equality Analysis been carried out and if so the result of this Assessment?: No
