·         Four public consultations have been carried out on previous iterations of this document.

·         Consultations of between four and six weeks have been carried out.

·         Some public events were held and specific interested parties were invited to meet Council Officers.

·         Extensive information was published on the Council’s website and documents were placed in the borough’s Idea Stores and Libraries.

·         Announcements relating the consultations were made in the East End Life prior to commencement. 

·         Emails were sent to a list of consultees who have previously been involved in the planning process in Tower Hamlets.

·         Statutory consultees were informed via email.

·         A ‘Statement of Compliance’ was prepared which sets out how the Council has undertaken its consultations. This is available on the Council’s website via www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/CIL.
