Crisis & Support Grant Scheme in 2015/16
The change in nature of decision due to increase in central Government funding for Local Welfare Provision which has allowed the Council to continue to deliver a Crisis & Support Grant scheme in 2015/16. Until that increase in funding the Council would have had to:
1. Discontinue the Crisis and Support Grant scheme in Tower Hamlets from 1st April 2015;
2. Authorise officers to work with partner organisations to ensure processes are in place for April 2015 to mitigate the impact of the discontinuation; and
3. Agree to commit any underspend of Crisis & Support Grant funds from 2014/15 to provide one-off financial support to partnering organisations to mitigate the impact of increased demand in 2015/16
