Extensions Programme
• Note the grant of £1,020,000.
from the GLA under the Building the Pipeline Supply Funding Stream
for the extension of 34 Council homes for rent at various addresses
in the borough
• Authorise the Corporate Director Development & Renewal
to approve the details of the proposed schemes subject to
planning
• Authorise the procurement of agents, consultants, technical
advisers and contractors required to deliver the extensions
• Authorise the Corporate Director Development & Renewal,
in consultation with the Mayor to award all necessary contracts to
undertake the schemes
• Authorise the Corporate Director Development & Renewal,
in consultation with the Service Head - Legal Services to agree the
terms of the necessary contracts
• Authorise the Service Head -Legal Services to execute all
necessary documents to implement the decisions in respect of this
report

Consultation process
Individual residents benefiting from the extensions will be consulted. This will take place after the decision is made.
The Housing Options Team will be consulted where the individuals are known to the Occupational Therapy Service.
House visits will be undertaken at the appropriate point in the programme to assess the needs of the families who will receive the works.
Has an Equality Analysis been carried out and if so the result of this Assessment?: No. However, the beneficiaries of the works will be families living in overcrowding conditions, and may include household members who suffer from long-term illnesses and disabled family members.
