Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park
To seek approval to extend the Service Level
Agreement (SLA) for the Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park from 1st April
2024 to 31st March 2027. This will be a continuation from the
previous three-year SLA set out for the organisation dated 1st
April 2021 to 31st March 2024.
Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park is a unique, important and much-loved
open space managed by charitable community-based organisation. It
forms part of the borough’s physical heritage and are
extremely significant community asset. Although the land is owned
by the Council, the management has been in the hands of the
community. The management of the Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park has
been community led since the formation of the Friends group in
1990, and since has been a much loved and well used.
