Homecare services for adults- amendment to Decision of 22 February 2023 at Cabinet
The Mayor wishes to amend in part the decision
of Cabinet on 22 February 2023 in respect to the recommissioning of
homecare services for adults.
Following extensive market engagement, the Mayor has given
direction that he wishes to reduce the maximum number of providers
that can be awarded a contract from 16 to 12 across the four
Localities (3 per Locality) and to allow a provider to be awarded
contracts in up to two Localities. He also wishes for the
requirement for additional specialist lots for Learning
Difficulties/Mental Health to be removed from the forthcoming
tender process and embed that offer across all providers.
