PDF 225 KBIn the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire, there has been a
great deal of focus on external wall cladding systems especially in
relation to high rise buildings.
In January 2020 the MHCLG usefully brought together all the
guidance they had issued on cladding and external wall systems
since Grenfell into one document.
This report seeks approval for the decision to procure competent
resources to deliver surveys on the council’s qualifying
residential buildings to inform future works.
