for Passthrough - granting Contractors Admitted Body Status to the
London Borough of Tower Hamlets Pension Fund. To date this has been
done on a case by case basis. It is good practice to have a
standard agreed Policy in place to provide certainty for all
impacted organizations.
This is not the norm. If the Council may opt to outsource some of
its functions. ensuring that employees of the Council who TUPE
across to contractors receive the same pension protection on TUPE
is key.
