Council Buildings Leased to Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Organisations
This report proposes clarification of and
revisions to the policy statement agreed at Cabinet in March 2018,
‘Council Buildings Leased to Voluntary and Community Sector
(VCS) Organisations - Statement of Policy and
Procedures’.
The revised Statement includes a defined list of council owned
premises that are considered to be the ‘Community Premises
Portfolio and clarifies the council’s approach to leasing
premises and eligibility for Community Benefit Rent Reduction for
faith-based activity and for early years settings.
The report also considers the financial arrangements for
CBRR.
