Reason for urgency:
Under the neighbourhood planning regulations, the Council has five weeks to take a decision on whether or not to implement Examiners' recommendations from date of receipt. The Examiner's recommendations were recieved on 14 April and notice of this decision was published on 16 April. However, allowing for the Council's Call In period, this decision must be taken by 12 May if a decision is to be implemented within the 5 week period. Therefore it was not possible to provide the full 28 days' notice. It has been possible to provide 24 days' notice however.

Consultation process
Isle of Dogs Neighborhood Plan has now been
consulted on four times - twice as a 'Regulation 14 Consultation'
(organised by the neighborhood forum to gather opinions and twice
as a 'Regulation 16 Consultation' (organised by the council to
gather formal comments on whether the neighborhood plan meets the
basic conditions as set out in the neighborhood planning
regulations.
