The role of the Health & Adults Scrutiny Sub Committee is to scrutinise local health services in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2001. The meetings are open to the public to attend. A timetable for meeting dates and deadlines can be found here.

The Sub-Committee is made up of Members of the Council and non-voting co-opted Members as appointed by the Overview and Scrutiny Committee. The quorum for the body is 3 voting Members.
