EXCLUSION OF THE PRESS AND PUBLIC In view of the contents of the remaining items on the agenda the Committee is recommended to adopt the following motion:
“That, under the provisions of Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, the press and public be excluded from the remainder of the meeting for the consideration of the Section Two business on the grounds that it contains information defined as Exempt in Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act, 1972.”
EXEMPT SECTION (Pink Papers)
The exempt committee papers in the agenda will contain information, which is commercially, legally or personally sensitive and should not be divulged to third parties. If you do not wish to retain these papers after the meeting, please hand them to the Committee Officer present. Additional documents: Minutes: RESOLVED

Senior Review Update To consider the reports of the Divisional Director, Human Resources and Organisational Development, in respect of a senior review.
Underneath the initial Senior Leadership Review report presented to the General Purposes Committee previously the following additional reports are appended:
· Senior Review report – Post Consultation (exempt) · Forthcoming Restructures – staffing implications (exempt) · Update on Senior Recruitment – (unrestricted)

Minutes: The reports of the Chief Executive and Divisional Director for Human Resources and Organisational Development were considered and the recommendations agreed.
It was agreed that one report (Update on Senior Recruitment) was unrestricted and would be published on the website.
Update on Senior Recruitment – December 2020 (unrestricted report)
RESOLVED
1. To approve the commencement of recruitment to the vacant roles arising as part of the Senior Leadership Review. 2. To note the current position on the recruitment to other senior management vacancies in the Council structure. 3. To approve the establishment of the Appointment Sub-Committee(s) required for all senior recruitment.
