2.    To note the change of RAG ratings for Age UK East London’s Caxton Hall and Friend at Home projects, moves from RED to AMBER and then GREEN, which has permitted the release of project funds due to Age UK for work on these projects, as outlined in section 3.2 (f) of the report.

4.    That a report is submitted to the next available meeting of the sub-committee providing further details and clarity on the variation of the Infrastructure and Capacity Building Grant and including a proposal to change the end date of the Infrastructure & Capacity Building grant to 30th September 2023 to bring it line with other grant programmes.

Minutes:

Afazul Hoque, Head of Corporate Strategy & Communities presented the report that covers the period April 2022 to June 2022 and reports on the five themes of the LCF and the Infrastructure & Capacity Building funding.

Members of Sub-Committee asked the following questions and comments:

·       The council should be more ambitious with its voluntary and community grant funding and the council is reviewing how and why it gives out funding, to ensure the public are getting better value for money from the number of organisations that are funded.

·       Grants should be brought in line with other programs to ensure that funding is uniform across the board till 2023.
