Purpose:
This report presents the council’s draft Transport
Strategy 2019-2041. The strategy sets out the council’s plan
for travel in the borough over the next 20 years in line with the
Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy 2018. It includes
priorities to deliver a healthier, safer and more environmentally
friendly transport system in the borough, which will improve
transport options and reduce the impacts of traffic on the
residents.
Decision:
The Pre-Decision Scrutiny Questions and officer responses were noted.

1. To note the outcome of the public consultation that informs the Tower Hamlets Transport Strategy 2019-2041.
2. Having regard to the Council’s Public Sector Equality and the equality analysis, to agree the Tower Hamlets Transport Strategy 2019-2041.
