Purpose:
The new criteria and guidance for awarding
Business Rates Reliefs has been developed based on feedback on the
last review of charitable and new reliefs brought in by the
government. The Cabinet meeting of 25th July 2018, agreed to
consult on the proposed changes to criteria and guidance. The
outcome of the consultation has been taken into account in the
recommendations in this report.
