Purpose:

It is a constitutional requirement that the Cabinet reviews this plan. The plan sets out the priorities and strategic goals of the Youth Justice Board.
This report highlights the current priority areas to tackle which include disproportional representation, and steps to reduce first time entrants.


Decision:

Considered under the Budget and Policy Framework.

 

The response of the Overview and Scrutiny Committee was noted.

 

DECISION

 

1.    To note the contents of the Annual Youth Justice Plan 2021/22 for Tower Hamlets and the City of London which will be progressed to Full Council for approval in accordance with the Council’s Budget and Policy Framework procedure rules.
