Capital Letters
Description
Capital Letters objects are to procure accommodation for homeless households and those at risk of homelessness by providing services in connection therewith to its Members; and to any other customers as considered appropriate by the Members from time to time provided that any services to non-Members shall always remain incidental to the primary aim of providing services to the Members and do not account for more than 20% of the turnover of the Company in any financial year (or such other percentage of turnover as may be permitted by law from time to time) at all times as set out in Regulation 12 of the Public Contract Regulations;
The Company is not established or conducted for private gain and any surplus or assets are used principally for the benefit of the community. Its purpose shall be to fulfil its objects and whilst it is not a charity it will carry out its activities with charitable, benevolent and philanthropic aims in mind.
Nominations are to the Capital Letters’ Borough Representative Body, which has sovereign responsibility for the governance of the organisation.
