Issue details
Joining together tree contracts and teams on council streets and estate land
Services managing trees and other
arboricultural services across council land are currently divided
across two teams and two contracts within Housing Management and
Public Realm respectively. As part of our efforts to integrate and
in-sourcing housing services, this report proposes for Public Realm
to adopt Housing Management’s tree stock in time for the new
financial year (2025/26) through ‘merging’ of the two
Arboriculture (tree) contracts
