Community Cohesion Plan ‘Our Tower Hamlets: A plan for a more cohesive community 2020-25’
Following the publication of the national and
regional social integration strategies the London Borough of Tower
Hamlets is developing a community cohesion plan which sets out its
priorities with a series of commitments to strengthen cohesion in
the Borough. This Plan takes into account national and regional
strategies, action plans and also the local data and intelligence
on this area.

Consultation process
Internal engagement with DLTs and services has
been undertaken. Currently public consultation is being undertaken
both online and face to face in the community. People can complete
survey online. Participatory action research method is being used
by community researchers when consulting different groups of people
in the community including those who are seldom heard.

Through the public consultation we are
consulting people who live work or study in the Borough. As
mentioned different directorates and services have been engaged
through DLTs and one to one meetings.
