We the undersigned petition the council to We would like the council to make Warner Place Located in Bethnal Green E2 a one way system,

Warner place is used by road users to either enter from Hackney road to go on to Bethnal green and vice versa .
This road contains a bend In front of Montessori School and the care home.

Below is the reason for this petition

So many residents have had their cars damaged by passers by, scratches/dents and wing mirrors damaged and on one occasion a total loss declared by insurance company by the damage caused by one road user.

Almost everyday there is a fight in front of the school on the bend due people not giving way. it gets physical sometime and foul language is used all the time

The children often have to witness this behaviour which is not fair

The Sheer volume of cars that use this neighbourhood due to the closures of the surrounding routes, Thus creating huge amount of pollution,

To clarify we are not seeking closure of this road, but to make it a one system so the flow off traffic going through will ease.

This Petition ran from 01/02/2023 to 15/03/2023 and has now finished.

28 people signed this Petition.
