This page lists the meetings for Tower Hamlets Self-Build Forum.
The Self-Build and Custom Housebuilding Act 2015 places a duty on local councils in England to keep and have regard to a register of people who are interested in self-build or custom build projects in their area. This register will help inform the council of the level of demand for self-build and custom build plots in the borough and help the council develop a strategy for matching people to plots in their area. As such anybody wishing to join the self-build register can do so via: http://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lgnl/housing/Self_build_and_custom_build/Self_build_and_custom_build_register.aspx
The Self-Build Forum is a meeting between self-build applicants on the register, and Council officers. The Lead Cabinet Members responsible for housing and strategic development also attend.
