Minutes:
Afazul Hoque, Head of Corporate Strategy & Communities presented the report that covers the period April 2022 to June 2022 and reports on the five themes of the LCF and the Infrastructure & Capacity Building funding.
Members of Sub-Committee asked the following questions and comments:
· The council should be more ambitious with its voluntary and community grant funding and the council is reviewing how and why it gives out funding, to ensure the public are getting better value for money from the number of organisations that are funded.
· Grants should be brought in line with other programs to ensure that funding is uniform across the board till 2023.
