Decision:

The Chief Executive has exercised an executive function under powers delegated to him by Paragraph 24, Rule 1(b) of Part B of the Constitution, due to emergency or extreme urgency, to authorise the Corporate Director of Place to enter into a Deed of Variation with the contractor to re-set the contract between the Council and BYUK to deal with an ongoing dispute in relation to existing building claims and other commercial cost risks arising from COVID, Brexit, supply chain deliveries and inflation.
